University Medical Center Improves Security of Critical Healthcare Network With Cisco® Security MARS

Duke Medicine, is the largest health network in North Carolina, encompassing three major teaching hospitals, a medical school, a nursing school, and 60 clinics. The organization supports voice-over-IP, ubiquitous wireless access, digitized clinical records systems, a picture archiving and communications system that can deliver high-resolution diagnostic images anywhere on the network, and centralized clinical applications that can be accessed by physicians and residents from anywhere on or off a medical campus.
