World Wide Technology Joins Cisco TelePresence Advanced
Technology Provider Program
Market-Leading Systems Integrator Selected to Implement TelePresence
Meeting Solution at Cisco
ST. LOUIS (November 9, 2006) – World Wide Technology, Inc. (WWT), a market-leading systems integrator that provides innovative technology and supply chain solutions, announced today it has achieved the TelePresence Advanced Technology Provider (ATP) status from Cisco Systems®. This designation is by invitation only and recognizes WWT for having the expertise, intellectual property and lifecycle services capabilities necessary to deliver the Cisco TelePresence experience. WWT has been a Cisco partner for over 14 years and is one of the largest Cisco partners in the U.S., with channel sales approaching $500 million in 2006.

Cisco TelePresence Meeting solution is a revolutionary new category of products that create live, "face-to-face" meeting experiences over an Internet Protocol (IP) network, empowering users to interact and collaborate in ways they could not before. It combines the reach, intelligence and reliability of the network with the simplicity of a telephone interface to deliver an entirely new way for people to meet and collaborate. Cisco TelePresence Meeting is the first application of Cisco TelePresence technology.

The Cisco TelePresence Meeting solution combines the industry's first ultra-high definition 1080p video and high-quality, wideband spatial audio, imperceptible latency, with comprehensive environmental design. Meeting participants feel as if they are in the same room together, even though they may be located across the globe. With the ability to see and hear others in ultra-high definition video and wideband spatial audio, users truly experience the subtleties and nuances delivered by body language, eye contact and facial gestures that make up more than 60 per cent of communications.
