WORLD WIDE TECHNOLOGY WINS CONTRACT FROM DELL FOR SUPPLY CHAIN SERVICES
St. Louis, Missouri – March 4, 2003 – World Wide Technology, Inc. (WWT) announced today that it has been awarded a contract to provide some supply chain services for Dell's U.S. logistics centers.
WWT will be the Expense Parts Supply Hub & Custom Factory Integration provider for Dell's operations in Austin, Texas; Nashville, Tenn.; and Reno, Nevada. WWT will manage and supply Dell's factories with a variety of items from their logistics centers in the three locations. In addition, WWT will perform certain assembly, de-kitting and labeling services for custom components stored in these centers.

WWT is using wireless technology, B2B systems integration and a robust back-office infrastructure to support Dell's manufacturing process. WWT is currently operational in Austin and Nashville, with plans to be operational in Reno by Q1. "We're proud to have met an extremely aggressive startup schedule, enabling Dell and its suppliers to begin realizing benefits immediately."
