World Wide Technology Receives Dell Customer Experience Award
St. Louis, Missouri – March 4, 2003 – World Wide Technology announced today that it had received a "Best Customer Experience Award" by Dell Corporation for exceeding Dell's quality, service and support requirements, and continually looking for ways to improve business processes and performance. Michael Dell, CEO Dell, presented the award to David Steward, Chairman World Wide Technology, during Dell's Annual Supplier Conference in Austin, TX.
The Worldwide Procurement Supplier Awards, an annual program in its 10th year, were given in Dell's first quarter, which ended May 2. World Wide Technology was one of eight suppliers who stood out among thousands of Dell production and general procurement suppliers evaluated on quality, technology, service, continuity of supply and cost.
"Enterprises such as Dell recognize the cost savings and services benefits that World Wide Technology provides," said Chris Scaglione, vice president. "We're honored that Dell selected World Wide Technology for its Best Customer Experience Supplier Award and we will work to ensure that we continue to provide Dell the best customer experience and best business value."
