World Wide Technology, Inc. Announces Appointment of Joseph G. Koenig to President
St. Louis, Missouri - January 1, 2002 - World Wide Technology, Inc., announced today that Joseph G. Koenig has been promoted to President. As President, Joe will have general management responsibility and oversight for day-to-day operations of the entire Company. In addition, as a member of the Executive Management team, Joe will continue to cultivate and drive key relationships with major business partners and customers, while setting overall strategy and direction for the Company.
Joe joined World Wide Technology in June of 1993 as a sales executive in the Federal Sales organization. During his tenure at World Wide Technology, Joe helped lead the company's sales growth from several millions dollars to over $900 million in 2001. Joe has held numerous positions in Sales, Sales Operations, General Management and Executive Management.
Joe has demonstrated the unique ability to think strategically while concurrently delivering real time results.
