From Silicon to Superpowers
Building the future through the Associate Academy
At World Wide Technology, the Associate Academy is a collective group of all-star individuals who focus on either a sales or technical track, grooming them to become the next great generation of contributors and leaders within WWT. Every week, the Associate Academy engages in powerful enablement, hands-on exercises, and activities designed to grow our knowledge of WWT's business, sales strategies and technical intelligence.
One of the most impactful pieces of the curriculum is Partner of the Month. This dedicated weekly hour allows Associate Academy members to engage directly with WWT's strategic partners—like Intel. Each session dives into a different aspect of the partnership, from Intel's elite status in Silicon Valley to our joint AI expansion efforts and solution overviews. These sessions aren't just informational—they're inspirational. They spark curiosity, encourage questions, and fuel our passion to contribute to the growth and success of these partnerships.
Making AI tangible
Through the Partner of the Month Sessions, we learned from subject matter experts like Susie Capozza, Radhika Anand, and Sachin Handa about how Intel's journey began with silicon, but today it's about superpowers. From the invention of the 4004 processor to the launch of AI PCs powered by Core Ultra chips, Intel has evolved into a global enabler of artificial intelligence. Their platforms—like Gaudi AI accelerators and Xeon processors—are helping industries deploy scalable, cost-effective AI solutions that solve real problems.
WWT brings these innovations to life through our Advanced Technology Center and the new AI Proving Ground. These environments allow customers to test, validate, and deploy Intel-powered solutions with confidence. Whether it's a lab on OpenShift AI or a learning path on scalable infrastructure, WWT is helping teams move from concept to impact.
Championing AI for everyone
What makes this partnership truly special is our shared commitment to inclusion and accessibility. Intel's AI for Good initiatives—like tools for accessibility, education programs and sustainability efforts—align perfectly with WWT's mission to empower communities.
Together, we're enabling:
- AI-powered medical imaging and diagnostics
- Offline GenAI classrooms in underserved regions
- Smart manufacturing that reduces waste and improves quality
- AI PCs that enhance productivity and security for everyday users
These aren't just use cases, they're proof that when technology meets purpose, everyone wins.
Final thought
At WWT, we believe the future of AI should be open, scalable, and human-centered. Intel shares that vision. By championing AI for everyone, we're turning silicon into superpowers and making sure those powers are within reach for every customer, partner and community we serve.
As for me, this experience has been more than just a learning opportunity. It's been a mindset shift. The Partner of the Month Sessions with Intel helped me connect the dots between their decades of innovation and the real-world impact AI is having today. I now see how Intel's open ecosystem and scalable platforms aren't just technical achievements—they're tools for transformation.
Moving forward, I'm excited to apply what I've learned to support our customers and teams in navigating the AI landscape. Whether it's through technical enablement, solution design or simply asking better questions, I'm committed to helping drive the next chapter of this partnership—and contributing to the future we're building together.
Meet the author
Hi there! I'm a Technical Associate in the Associate Academy based in Denver, proud to be part of WWT since July 2025. My professional background includes several years at Raytheon, where I focused on software programming and project management, as well as aerospace systems architecture and design. These experiences shaped my passion for solving complex problems and driving innovation through collaboration and structure.
Academically, I hold a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri and recently completed a Master's in Engineering Management from George Washington University. My goal at WWT is to continue bridging technical depth with strategic execution—helping teams deliver meaningful solutions that scale.
Outside of work, I love finding a good golf course, coffee shop or brewery, and I'm especially excited for football season this fall. Whether I'm grilling out or catching a game, I find the most joy in sharing great food and making lasting memories with friends and family.
