Omnissa Workspace One - Drop Ship Provisioning (offline) Lab
As today's workforce transitions to remote and hybrid work, businesses must deliver an efficient onboarding experience to their remote workers. Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM, formerly VMware, offers various ways to provision Windows Desktop devices to your users. Using Workspace ONE you can automatically enroll Windows devices and provision products to them prior to delivering the device(s) to end users.
Workspace One supports two types of Drop-Ship provisioning and application provisioning methods (offline & Online).
With Workspace ONE Provisioning (Offline), you can send your manufacturer a provisioning package (PPKG) with all the apps you want pre-loaded to devices. With Workspace ONE Provisioning (Online) eliminates the need to create and share PPKGs with your hardware manufacturer. Simply assign your payloads to a tag in the Workspace ONE UEM console, and then place an order with your hardware manufacturer using that Workspace ONE UEM tag. WWT's Integration center's support both (online & offline) options
To better understand this process, we have provided this lab (Omnissa Workspace Drop-Ship Provisioning Lab) that will guide you through the creation of the offline PPKG file and run through the configuration options that can be done either in-house or through a manufacturer to configure the windows devices. After that you will walkthrough the experience the end user would have when the device is delivered.

VMware Workspace One and SASE Lab: Securing the Device and Edge for Remote and Mobile Users
VMware Workspace One and VMware SASE are the key components of remote and mobile end user experience. Using these technologies IT can assure that end users devices and their actions are secure. Workspace One provides a zero-trust architecture with continuous verification of endpoint compliance, by allowing only conditional access to applications, and by reducing the attack surface wherever possible. SASE provides network edge security controls like zero-trust network access, cloud access security, web gateway services and more. This simulation lab will walk you through the settings and features of Workspace One UEM, Workspace One Tunnel and SASE.
