United Way Immersion Experience Lite - 11:15am
Event Overview
In just 30 minutes, this condensed version of the United Way's full Immersion Experience walks you through 4 weeks in the life of a family as they navigate tough decisions to make ends meet. Through real scenarios, you’ll see the challenges families face every day and how United Way helps connect them to critical support. You’ll also learn about the 211 program, the United Way's 24/7 connection to local resources and agencies, offering guidance and support whenever it’s needed most. This meeting is hosted on the 1st floor of GHQ in the Chengdu office.
What to expect
- A fast-paced, 30-minute session that simulates 4 weeks in the life of a family.
- Realistic scenarios that show the difficult tradeoffs families make to get by.
- Insight into how United Way connects people with critical resources and support.
- An introduction to the 211 program, available 24/7 to provide guidance and assistance.
