Led by a guest speaker with deep expertise in trans activism and inclusive education, this event is an open, safe space to learn, reflect, and take meaningful action together. What to expect

An interactive and educational virtual session exploring LGBTIQ+ identity, allyship, and inclusion in the workplace. This workshop will cover the following key topics:
  • Understanding gender identity, the trans umbrella, and key LGBTIQ+ concepts
  • The historical and colonial roots of gender binarism and LGBTIQ+ discrimination
  • The difference between being an actor, an ally, and an accomplice for social change
  • Practical tips to create inclusive spaces and use affirming language at work
  • Live Q&A session with the speaker

Goals and Objectives

The goal of this event is to deepen WWT employees understanding of LGBTIQ+ identities and experiences, particularly those of trans and gender-diverse individuals. Attendees will leave with concrete tools to act as better allies and accomplices in their day-to-day interactions and within WWT culture. This session directly supports WWT LATAM Pride ERG and WWT commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion by fostering an environment where every employee feels seen, respected, and valued for their authentic self.

Who should attend?

This event is open to all WWT employees regardless of role, seniority, or location. It is especially relevant for HR Business Partners, People Managers, Team Leads, DEI Champions, ERG Members and Allies, and anyone interested in building a more inclusive workplace. No prior knowledge of LGBTIQ+ topics is required — all are welcome.
