WWT's thought leadership sessions at SC25
Workflows, Not Workloads: The Future of HPC, AI & Big Data
Three flash-talk sessions will be hosted by Earl Dodd, Global HPC Business Practice Leader
Drawing parallels to Henry Ford's assembly line, we will highlight how workflow thinking accelerates insight, ensures reproducibility, and enables cost control across hybrid and multicloud environments.
Topics include:
- Workflow orchestration in HPC/AI pipelines using tools such as NextFlow, Snakemake, WDL, Cromwell and Airflow.
- Hybrid flexibility: Balancing on-premises HPC with cloud bursting for agility and scale.
- Compliance and reproducibility: Structured, auditable pipelines that reduce risk in regulated domains.
- Knowledge preservation: Encoding expert practices into workflows to mitigate the "Silver Tsunami" of retiring talent.
- Case studies: Accelerating drug discovery, optimizing energy production and advancing automotive materials design.
Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of how workflow optimization transforms HPC from a collection of isolated jobs into a strategic engine for innovation.
Dates and time:
Tuesday, November 18: 3:30 - 3:45 p.m.
Wednesday, November 19: 1:15 to 1:30 p.m.
Thursday, November 20: 1:15 to 1:30 p.m.
All sessions will be at Booth #2638 in the Exhibit Hall.
Dive into AI technologies with our interactive demos
Don't miss out on the excitement at our booth!
Here's a sneak peek of what you can expect:
- Atom Ai: Atom Ai is WWT's generative AI chatbot. It uses natural language processing to provide insights and support to employees, clients and partners. By enabling quick access to vital information, Atom Ai boosts productivity, revenue and innovation.
- RFP Assistant: The RFP Assistant is an AI-powered tool designed to automate and streamline RFP responses. It utilizes large language models (LLMs) to summarize information, extract key requirements and deadlines, and generate initial draft responses from a repository of previous answers and templates.
- AI-for-Good-AI Driven Shelter Solutions: The AI-for-Good demo showcases the power of AI to assist vulnerable populations and organizations supporting those in need. This demo shows a mobile app that helps a 16-year-old unhoused female find the nearest shelter by inputting her address. The app, powered by generative AI, accesses a shelter database to provide options and displays local shelters on a map with directions.
- PMO Assistant: Discover how the PMO Assistant was designed to automate PMO workflows by generating kickoff documents and PowerPoint presentations from Statements of Work (SOWs) and internal data. This tool saves approximately five hours per project by streamlining manual tasks and data gathering.
- Digital Human–Ellie: Meet Ellie, an AI-powered avatar capable of interacting with users to take orders and answer questions using natural language processing. Built on NVIDIA's L40s and H100 GPUs, it leverages the NVIDIA Tokkio architecture and RIVA Language Services for seamless user engagement in retail, entertainment and other verticals.
- RAG: Customized Multimodal Chatbot: This demo is part of our AI Proving Ground, featuring automated deployment of NVIDIA NIM™ and an interactive UI chatbot engagement. It leverages NVIDIA NIM and Blueprints to quickly spin up RAG environments, enabling document and file uploads to address industry and company-specific queries.
- Windsurf Code Development: This demo reveals the innovative capabilities of Windsurf, formerly Codeium. It showcases its ability to generate accurate, functional code directly from a simple image. This tool significantly enhances developer efficiency and creativity, and it continually evolves to introduce more groundbreaking features.
- NVIDIA Blueprint: Visual agent for video search and summarization
- WWT AI Network Assistant: The WWT Agentic Network Assistant is an AI-powered tool that automates network troubleshooting, configuration validation and compliance checks for enterprise IT environments. It translates natural language queries into CLI commands, executes them on network devices via SSH, analyzes outputs using AI and provides actionable insights. Additionally, it integrates with Cisco documentation for reference and supports automated runbook execution to streamline network operations.
- DOD GenAI: The MultiINT toolkit is a secure, multi-agent AI solution that supports defense and national security missions by quickly providing insights across large datasets. Specialized agents with access to mission-specific tools are orchestrated by a flexible graph framework to parse and analyze data holistically for use cases that include missile defense, intelligence analysis and situational awareness.
- LLM Powered Clinical Trial Matcher: This demo explores how AI applied to anonymized health records enables efficient trial matching—at single, bulk and multi-trial levels—reducing time, improving accuracy and enhancing access for researchers, providers, and patients.
- Lung Cancer Radiology pre-visit tool: This tool helps oncologists prepare for lung cancer patient appointments by combining disparate data sources, analyzing CT scans for suspicious-looking nodules, and creating a longitudinal report based on all the information.
Booth Theater Sessions

As organizations roll out tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, Glean AI, and Claude Code, employees often face a mix of excitement and uncertainty. Learning how to prompt effectively bridges that gap.
This interactive 30-minute session shows how clear communication, prompting, and guidance with AI build confidence, reduce resistance, and accelerate adoption. Participants learn practical ways to frame requests, add context, and guide AI behavior—skills that turn hesitation into experimentation and experimentation into value.
Whether you're a leader introducing AI or a professional trying to use it well, this session helps you get better results from the tools you already have.
