St. Louis – August 25, 2017 World Wide Technology (WWT), a leading integrator that provides innovative technology and supply chain solutions to large public and private organizations, today announced that it has been named NetApp National Partner of the Year. WWT was recognized for its overall year-over-year growth, financial year 2017 revenue and top partner ranking in other partner award categories. The award was handed out at the NetApp Channel Connect Conference in Austin, Texas.

“WWT is especially proud of our successes with NetApp within the past year,” said Scott Miller, Senior Director of Data Center at WWT. “Our NetApp business has increased by 125 percent comparing our first half 2016 to first half 2017.”

NetApp’s introduction of several all-flash storage arrays contributed to WWT’s financial year 2017 revenue and year-over-year growth. WWT’s Advanced Technology Center and Integration Technology Centers have facilitated collaborative ecosystems where customers can explore how NetApp’s storage and converged infrastructure offerings fit into integrated architectural solutions. These labs provide speed to customers as they’re able to tap into WWT’s engineers and its partners to collaborate, design and test solutions in a sandboxed environment.

“Channel partners are critical to our success in taking our vision forward and today we recognize and celebrate their accomplishments,” said Jeff McCullough, Vice President, Channel Sales at NetApp. “I congratulate World Wide Technology on being named NetApp National Partner of the Year. Their commitment to performance excellence, innovation and quality has contributed to driving market share gains for NetApp and positive business outcomes for our customers.”

“WWT is honored to be recognized as the NetApp National Partner of the Year,” said Bob Olwig, Vice President of Business Development and Innovation at WWT. “We have worked closely with NetApp since 2009 and have been committed to providing customers with hands-on access to NetApp technology solutions and services. This award reflects the success, growth and innovative leadership in delivering valuable NetApp business solutions for our customers to drive positive outcomes.”

The 2017 Americas Partner Awards were announced on stage at NetApp’s inaugural Channel Connect Conference (C3) where partner executives from across the Americas region gathered to hear about NetApp’s strategic vision and engage with NetApp executives.
