World Wide Technology is pleased to launch a new $1 million Global Community Impact program to support agencies that assist families affected by COVID-19 and organizations that accelerate research to develop a vaccine and treatment for the disease.

WWT kicked off the initiative with a $25,000 donation to the International Red Cross in support of its efforts to ensuring a stable blood supply to support this pandemic. WWT is additionally encouraging all employees to give blood at their local Red Cross agency.

"At WWT, we have established a Spirit of Giving and this type of support and involvement by our employees to their community is part of our commitment to the future," said WWT Vice President of Global Human Resources Ann Marr. "Our employees' efforts have the power to improve the lives of others and that sense of obligation is a deeply rewarding experience for all of us."

Making a positive social and business impact on the world requires a combination of corporate social responsibility and embracing diversity in people and ideas. Therefore, it is important for WWT, through the Global Community Impact, to leverage our diverse workforce and the organizations they want to help support to help fight against this global pandemic.
