Philip Farah is a Digital Transformation strategist and business development lead with over 20 years’ experience advising Senior Business and IT Executives of Global Enterprises, on technology-enabled growth strategies: • He currently serves as a digital Transformation Services bizdev lead at World-Wide Technology leveraging leading edge capabilities in Smart infrastructure/Cloud, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence and Omnichannel Cust Experience to accelerate value realization for WWT’s Global Enterprise clients • Prior to WWT, Philip was a Senior Managing Partner with Gartner Consulting where he advised CIOs of Financial Services Institutions on strategies ranging from Digital Transformation to Ecosystem Business Models, Enterprise DevOps and Cloud Migration • In the 10 years preceding Gartner, Philip led the Global Financial Services Innovations consulting practice at Cisco Systems where he helped launch the Omnichannel Transformation wave into the Banking Industry from Research to Strategy and Implementation. • Before Cisco, he headed a Decision Science unit at Capital One Financial enabling $1B in Recoveries Business. • He started his career in the US as a management consultant with McKinsey and Co advising CXOs of leading Retail Banking, Insurance and Pharmaceutical clients on Business-IT strategies. In addition to his corporate experience, Philip has actively engaged, throughout his career, in advising and mentoring startups on growth and Go-To-Market opportunities. He authored several pieces of Thought Leadership on the Future of Banking, Payments, Wealth Management and the Blockchain economy. His views were featured in publications including American Banker, Wall Street & Technology and Bloomberg BusinessWeek and in global industry forums in the US, Russia, APJC and Latin America. Philip holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s degree in computer engineering from EERIE, France. Farah lives in Houston, Texas with his wife and two children.
