Meraki Wireless and Guest Access Lab
In this lab you will be able to log in to the Meraki dashboard, explore the Inventory of an Organization, review Wireless Networks, and all the Wireless Network settings including DHCP and VLANs. The lab will walk you through how to create a VLAN for each WLAN, a DHCP Scope, and configure other settings within the WLANs such as Wireless Security Policies, Layer 3 and Layer 7 Firewall and Traffic Shaping rules and create a Network Tag for your APs . You will also be shown a Guest access WLAN, how a splash page works and how it was created. You will also see a splash page demonstration. You'll get to review wireless client connectivity and how it receives DHCP. Then see how RF Profiles are created and WLAN availability using AP Tags.
Meraki MX Security and WAN Access Lab
The MX is entirely cloud-managed, enabling zero-touch installation and remote management, making it perfect for distributed branches, campuses, and data centers. It integrates natively with a complete suite of secure network and assurance features, eliminating the need for multiple devices. These features include application-based firewalling, content filtering, web search filtering, SNORT based intrusion detection and prevention, Cisco Advanced Malware Protection (AMP), site-to-site Auto VPN, client VPN, WAN and cellular failover, dynamic path selection, web application health monitoring, VoIP health, and more.
Meraki Switching with Catalyst Lab
In the Meraki Dashboard, customers can access Catalyst switch statistics, configuration details, and troubleshooting tools, offering a comprehensive view from a single interface. The dashboard provides visibility into these aspects and actual monitoring but the dashboard itself only offers read-only access to the devices. Catalyst in Managed offers device management, including configuration changes. Thus, IOS-XE features, CLI management, and configuration for Cisco Catalyst switches in cloud managed mode continue to be supported.

Quantum Systems: A Beginners' Guide for Classical Engineers (Part I)
Quantum systems are not mystical black boxes, but rather rigorously structured architectures with familiar analogs. This note provides a foundation for quantum computing using concepts familiar to classical engineers, x86 architects and network professionals. It maps qubits, quantum gates and qubit connectivity graphs into well-known ideas such as transistors, instruction sets and data center fabrics, making quantum systems easier to understand without diluting the physics.

Throughout the lab challenges, you will gain practical knowledge in setting up Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), configuring firewall rules, deploying VM instances, and implementing load balancing. Challenge 1 focuses on VPC setup and firewall rules, Challenge 2 covers VM instances and IP addresses, Challenge 3 involves SSH configuration and external firewall rules, and Challenge 4 explores load-balancing setup. By completing these challenges, you will develop a strong foundation in GCP networking and be able to apply these skills in real-world scenarios.
