Learn the basics of OT security, and how Armis aims to protect and manage OT devices across a network through complete asset visibility and control. Throughout this learning path, you will learn the basics of the Armis architecture, as well as explore the ways that Armis is able to provide complete asset visibility, track asset activity, and report on asset health. You will also explore some of the key security capabilities that the Armis platform provides by leveraging the Armis Knowledge Base and the Armis Vulnerability Management (AVM).

Learn about the Siemens OT hardware and software landscape. From a hardware perspective, we will discuss both the S7-1200 and the S7-1500 hardware families. The hardware section of this course will focus on PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) as well as RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) hardware. From a software perspective, we will primarily focus on Siemens TIA Portal, which is the development environment use to program the previously discussed hardware. Finally, we will explore PLC concepts from the perspective of the S7-1500. This will focus on connecting PLC hardware to real world use cases.

Learn about IT and OT security convergence. This course provides an introduction to Operation Technology (OT). Additional focus is on using Claroty Continuous Threat Detection (CTD) to monitor and alert on the OT infrastructure and assets. At the end of this course, there is a hands-on lab where the student will have their own dedicated instance of Claroty CTD along with various OT components to work through real-life use cases.
