Lab users are provided a dedicated nested VMware environment to use as for an intro to VMware's server virtualization products, ESXi and Virtual Center.

This advanced networking tool enables seamless management of networking configurations across multiple hosts, streamlining network administration and improving performance. One of the key features of vDS is the ability to create Distributed Port Groups (DPG), which provide a consistent network configuration across multiple hosts within a data center. In this lab, we will take a deep dive into the world of VMware Distributed Switches, guiding you step-by-step on how to create and configure Distributed Port Groups.

This lab presents the user with a virtual environment with issues that need fixing. The user will troubleshoot a problem logging into vCenter, troubleshoot an issue trying to SSH into an ESXi host and troubleshoot a network issue on an Ubuntu virtual machine.
