Executive Summary

When adopting a new technology, significant barriers to change must be overcome before an organization or individual can accept the technology within its workflows. World Wide Technology (WWT) has developed an Adoption Services offering that can mitigate, or even eliminate, these common barriers to change. When this happens, employees better understand how to utilize newly deployed technologies or platforms for their specific use case to drive positive business outcomes.

A WWT Adoption Services Workshop will uncover the features of our comprehensive, post-deployment utilization strategies to ensure customers maximize the ROI of the solution designed and implemented by WWT.


The WWT Adoption Services Workshop is a 2- to 4-hour strategic discussion and whiteboard session designed to uncover barriers to change and establish use cases specific to the business drivers of the technology. During the workshop, we will learn about how technology deployments have been effective and where they have failed in the past. We will also look into the ways in which stakeholders of the technology have envisioned the tools working, and apply that to existing workflows. Creation of content such as surveys, internal communications, and curriculum will also be discussed. In the end, the project will uncover an established use case for the technology and an adoption goal with timelines to drive towards.


Workshop attendees will have a clear understanding of the value that the collaboration utilities can deliver. WWT will also walk away from the discussion with knowledge around key performance indicators and a vision for the technology that is being applied, giving the project team an opportunity to customize the engagement to the clients desired business outcomes. The workshop will set a path that allows new technologies, including software licensing and new hardware to be consumed by end users in a manner that yields a more collaborative working environment.
