Smart Account Home Page

An introduction to Cisco Smart Accounts. Cisco Smart Account provides access to all of Cisco entitlements and software licenses. Within the Smart Account customers can easily manage and move assets, while also monitoring all consumption and activity.

Cisco Smart Account Admin

Within the Smart Account Admin section, customers will be able to create the overall framework in which the account will be managed. This overview takes an in depth look at important details in Smart Account management such as Virtual Accounts, User Roles, Access Requests, and locating a Smart Account Domain ID number.

Cisco Smart Account Traditional Licensing

Traditional licensing is the legacy management tool for applying licenses to devices through manual registration with PAKs. With traditional licensing, devices are unlocked via PAKs or license keys in order to apply licenses. This video overview presents the process of requesting PAKs and how to assign to a device, as well as covering other components via the Traditional licensing portal.

Cisco EA Workspace

The EA Workspace within the Smart Account is where customers will be able to locate any active EA licensing enrollment they may have. With the exception of Collaboration Flex, all EA licensing for DNA, Data Center, and Security will be found in the EA Workspace. Under the EA Workspace, customers will be able to generate and/or provision any new licenses from an EA, in order to then apply the licensing in their Smart or Traditional licensing portals. Customers are able to track their EA license consumption here as well. This video will take a closer look at these items within the EA workspace.

Cisco Smart Software Licensing

Smart licensing is a cloud-based, software licensing management solution that enables customers to a more automated approach to licensing tasks. Through Smart licensing, customers have access to software licensing in a depository, that can be utilized company wide for easier activation, without a PAK requirement (Product Activation Key). This overview will walk you through the process to apply smart licenses to end devices, while covering additional items within the Smart Licensing portal.
