Susan McHugh-Polley serves as Senior Strategic Advisor for Federal at World Wide Technology (WWT). McHugh-Polley retired from the Federal government after more than three decades of service, having most recently served in the position of Deputy Assistant Secretary, Information Technology Operations and Services, as a member of the Senior Executive Service (SES) for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Susan McHugh-Polley has held a variety of management and executive leadership positions at the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Department of Justice (DOJ).
Her government career includes executive leadership in IT operations, development of short and long-term agency IT goals, implementation of new IT strategies over large and diverse operations, integration of change management for IT solutions, and international liaison with corporations and foreign government officials to enhance IT capabilities, partnerships and customer services.
Paul Cunningham serves as a Chief Technical Advisor – Federal for Information Security at World Wide Technology (WWT). In this role, Cunningham advises WWT teammates and partners on the complexity of the Federal Information Security landscape and the driving factors within public sector.
Prior to joining WWT, Cunningham worked in leading security roles for numerous leading federal agencies. He mostly recently served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Information Security for the Department of Veterans Affairs. A Veteran himself, he deployed risk-based, mission-focused principles in VA's technological delivery of support and services. He has led numerous high-profile initiatives such as securing the Federal Healthcare Marketplace and developing OMB's High-Value Asset strategy. Before the VA, Cunningham worked as the Chief Information Security Officer at the Department of Energy and as the Information Assurance Governance Branch Director for Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
A trusted authority, Cunningham has advised the White House, Congress, and numerous departments and agencies on cybersecurity trends and risk management. He has served on several federal-level bodies, including the Federal CISO Council, Committee on National Security Systems, and the Federal Privacy Council.
The portfolio owner and strategic thought-partner across WWT's Native American Tribes' business strategy. Integrating strategic and technical initiatives into customer requirements. Mapping WWT offerings across Tribes' business units, Gaming, Healthcare, Education, Hospitality, Travel, Tribal Government, Cybersecurity, and Technology. Innovating and leveraging WWT's portfolio to support the customer's stated mission outcomes. Advising, leading, and directing the WWT Services Team on how WWT can better serve the needs of customers as the situation dictates. Ensuring Tribal customers receive full lifecycle support including pre-sales, implementation, and ongoing support.
