MSDUK
MSDUK (Minority Supplier Development UK) was founded in 2006 by Mayank Shah with the aim of addressing the underrepresentation of ethnic minority-owned businesses in corporate supply chains in the UK. The organization was established to provide support, networking opportunities, and resources to minority-owned enterprises, helping them access procurement opportunities and grow their businesses.
MSDUK is committed to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion in business. They believe in the power of economic empowerment through supplier diversity, fostering innovation and growth like us here at WWT.
Over the years, MSDUK has grown into a leading non-profit organization dedicated to promoting supplier diversity and inclusion in the UK. They have developed partnerships with corporations, government agencies, and other organizations to create opportunities for ethnic minority-owned businesses.
MSDUK has over 125 corporate members, examples of these being Barclays, Google, Meta, Accenture, EY and Apple. They host various events, conferences, and networking sessions throughout the year to connect minority-owned businesses with corporate buyers. They also provide training, mentoring, and support services to help these businesses succeed in the competitive marketplace.
Through their efforts, MSDUK has become a respected advocate for diversity and inclusion in business, contributing to the economic empowerment of ethnic minority communities and fostering innovation and growth in the UK economy.
