AI Security Strategy Accelerator

Generative Artificial Intelligence is revolutionizing the way we work. As use cases grow in scope and number in every enterprise organization worldwide, unique new attack surfaces and threats are also rising. But so are AI-based defense innovations. WWT's AI Security Strategy Accelerator service will provide you with a vision for fully optimizing your AI security capabilities.

What to Expect

WWT's AI experts, using industry-leading techniques and frameworks, will perform a non-intrusive analysis of your current AI estate and objectives. The result will be a clear roadmap of priorities and recommended action. The duration of this engagement can vary based on scope but on average expect 8 weeks.

  • Analysis of current and future state
  • Governance of security within AI systems
  • Evaluation of the use AI in security operations
  • Roadmap of prioritized list of recommendations

Details

This accelerator aims to assess an organization's current state of AI security and provide a roadmap for improvement based on best practices and frameworks. It targets organizations that use AI systems internally or via SaaS for various purposes, such as data analysis, customer service, marketing, and automation.

These companies recognize AI's potential benefits and risks and want to ensure that their AI systems are secure, trustworthy, and compliant with relevant regulations and standards. The scope is often dual purpose, emphasizing both utilizing AI to alleviate human cyber limitations and targeting risk reduction in complex AI business use cases. CISO-level governance and AI security program development plans are also required for such endeavors, and therefore are also in scope.

Goals & Objectives

The purpose of the project is to help an organization improve its AI security posture by:

  • Evaluating the security of AI, including:
    • Evaluating an organization's overall use of AI broadly, including AI systems used internally or via SaaS. This includes specific AI models, data science tools, shared MLOps and data analysis platforms.
    • Evaluating the approach to assessing the potential vulnerabilities in AI models and related systems.
    • Assessing an organization's AI security capabilities, such as data governance, model management, vulnerability management, red & blue team exercises.
    • Identifying an organization's defenses against AI attacks, such as prompt injection, data poisoning, model theft, adversarial examples, etc.
    • Reviewing existing plans for AI and AI security.
  • Evaluating AI in security, including:
    • Assessing an organization's use of AI for cybersecurity defenses.
    • Reviewing the plans for using AI in security.
    • Evaluating all recommendations by value and complexity (feasibility). This includes the definitions of these terms specific to the business.
    • Providing a plan for AI security improvement based on best practices and frameworks.

Benefits

This accelerator will optimize your time to value on AI security by providing the following:

  • A detailed description of current state
  • Key findings and recommendations
  • A gap analysis comparing current and future state, including governance function
  • A prioritized list of recommendations based on value and complexity
  • A roadmap that outlines specific steps and actions for achieving the desired state
  • Conceptual Design
