Solution overview

VMware Workspace ONE delivers the foundation of the modern Digital Workspace, simply and securely delivering and managing any app, on any device, from anywhere. Access control, application management and unified device management are integrated together to provide a holistic platform for empowering user productivity while maintaining enterprise security regardless of application, location or device type. 

VMware SASE secures the newly distributed workforce and network edge so people, apps and devices can communicate from anywhere. The VMware SASE advantage is a unified edge and cloud service model with a single place to manage business policy, configuration and monitoring. VMware SASE consists of three components: 

  1. VMware Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) is a software based network technologies that virtualize WAN connections to provide agility, performance and reliability for network traffic between remote and branch offices to data centers and the cloud.
  2. VMware Secure Access leverages the VMware SD-WAN global network and Workspace One Endpoints to provide a remote access solution that is based on a Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) framework. The cloud-hosted solution offers multiple benefits over traditional VPN solutions. It provides users with consistent, optimal and secure application access from anywhere.
  3. VMware Cloud Web Security is a cloud hosted service that protects users and infrastructure accessing SaaS and Internet applications from internal and external threats, offers visibility and control, and ensures compliance.

Together VMware Workspace ONE and VMware SASE enable secure, optimized and high-performance access for remote and mobile workers.
