WWT recognized for expertise leading to the successful installation and deployment of F5 technologies®

ST. LOUIS – July 13, 2016 – World Wide Technology, Inc. (WWT), a market-leading systems integrator that provides innovative technology and supply chain solutions, today announced that it has joined F5 Networks' Guardian®Professional Services Partner Program as an Advanced Implementation Provider. By participating in F5's Guardian Professional Services Program, WWT has demonstrated that they have the necessary skills to architect, implement, maintain, and optimize F5®BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager™(LTM®), BIG-IP® DNS, and BIG-IP Access Policy Manager™(APM®) solutions.

The program expands F5's Unity™ Partner Program to provide additional benefits for partners who have invested in deep F5 product knowledge and consulting skills that deliver high value to joint customers.

"WWT is focused on providing the highest levels of service and support to our customers, and we are pleased that F5 has recognized our demonstrated expertise and certifications in installing and deploying F5 solutions," said WWT's chief executive officer and co-founder Jim Kavanaugh. "F5's Guardian Professional Services Program provides us with access to early training and best practice resources we need to help our customers fully leverage all of the capabilities afforded by F5 technology."

Since becoming partners in 2006, WWT has grown to become one of F5's largest and most strategic partners, receiving recognition across the F5 product portfolio, geographic theatres and market segments, including being named as F5 Unity Innovation Partner of the Year for the Americas in 2015.

WWT's exceptional F5 engagement is facilitated by its Advanced Technology Center (ATC), where customers can explore how F5 products fit into integrated architectural solutions first-hand. Within the ATC, WWT's F5 experts work together with customers to design and demonstrate solutions leveraging F5's BIG-IP LTM, DNS, APM, Application Security Manager™, Advanced Firewall Manager™, VIPRION®, and BIG-IQ® offerings, appliances, and virtual platforms. They also can explore F5 integrations with Cisco ACI and Sourcefire solutions. WWT also has written white papers and developed multi-vendor integrated data center solutions that use various networking, compute, storage, and F5 technologies.

"F5 welcomes WWT to the Guardian Professional Services Program," said Keith McManigal, RVP, Channel Sales for the Americas at F5 Networks. "The success of our partners means a positive experience for customers, enabling them to achieve maximum return on their investment in F5 solutions."
