St. Louis, MO – World Wide Technology, a market-leading $13.4 billion technology solutions provider, today announced that it has has been awarded a three-year contract, with two additional one-year renewal options, to offer technology solutions, products and services to public agencies throughout the United States. These agencies include state and local governmental entities; public and private primary, secondary and higher education entities; non-profit entities; and agencies for the public benefit.

Over 234,000 active participants currently utilize the cooperative purchasing program portfolio from OMNIA Partners, with purchasing volume growth of $5.5 billion in just the past three years. As a result of WWT's contract win, these and other agencies now can access any or all of WWT's comprehensive catalog of solutions (such as digital transformation, smart cities, automation and orchestration, multi-cloud architecture, and security transformation) and services (such as consulting, application, integration, and infrastructure) via OMNIA Partners, Public Sector.

Through OMNIA Partners, Public Sector, agencies can eliminate the burdens of going it alone. They can immediately access the solutions, products, and services they need – now including WWT's entire suite – through a single, already-approved conduit that dramatically reduces contract volume and overhead, and speeds time-to-procurement. At the same time, participating public agencies nationally get cost certainty and the most aggressive volume discounts by pooling their purchasing power with their peers.

WWT's contract for technology solutions, products, and services – effective June 1, 2021 – was awarded by the Region 4 Education Service Center, which served as the principal procurement agency for the solicitation. Although the contract guarantees no minimum value, the parties estimate its value at $500 million annually. The breadth and depth of WWT's technology solutions and services, coupled with its track record of successfully serving public sector agencies including state and local governments and K-12 and higher education institutions, led to its selection over sixteen other bidders at the conclusion of a careful and thorough evaluation process.
