About Ross
Before coming to WWT I was in the US Army from 1991-1999. I was stationed in Germany for most of this time as a Military Intelligence Specialist. In 1999 I started a role with Save-A-Lot Foods as the Director of Computer Support. I joined WWT in August 2005 as the Manager of WWT's "End User Support" Helpdesk. I managed all incidents escalated by our internal Tier1 and 2 teams . In 2010 I joined WWT's Professional Services team as a Project Manager. I was assigned to the State of Missouri VOIP deployment. There I was tasked with overseeing the voice, network and project management teams for 2 years on this deployment. Upon completing of this project I transitioned into the role of Delivery Manager (now Engineering Management) for our Sothern Operations Command (SOCOM) team in Tampa, FL. I have managed several engineering teams in PS ranging from Network Strategic Operations Team at McDill AFB to our layer 1 Field install team and everything in between. Most recently I accepted the role of Sr Engagement Manager for Strategic Operations. This role involves working with onboarded contractors to ensure they are staying engaged and on task with their day-to-day responsibilities I thrive on seeing others succeed. Nothing gives me more joy than to see young engineers, PM's and people in general reach their career goals. One of my favorite sayings that drives me is "we work to standards, not to time". This means... get the work done right, no matter how long it takes
