  • Sustainability
  • Member Development
  • Strategic Growth
  • Brand Elevation

The goal was to give 200 student leaders practical AI tools and strategies to strengthen their chapters and accelerate NSBE's mission.

  • Elevating NSBE's brand with innovative outreach

This wasn't just a workshop—it was a roadmap to help student leaders leverage AI to drive community impact and organizational growth.

Why it matters

As Janeen Uzzell, CEO of NSBE, shared on LinkedIn:

Workshops like this extend beyond training—they build momentum, confidence, and a culture of innovation. By equipping NSBE leaders with AI knowledge and credentials, WWT and Microsoft are ensuring the next generation of Black engineers is prepared to lead responsibly in an AI-powered world.

A special shout-out goes to John Evans, whose support and leadership helped make this partnership and session possible.

And this is only the beginning. As Janeen noted, "Next training will be in New Orleans with our NSBE Professionals in August."

Together, WWT, Microsoft and NSBE are shaping not just the future of engineering—but the future of leadership itself.
