Custom Optical Training

WWT's Custom Optical Training provides a customized class for up to twelve (12) students on Cisco Optical Technologies and Equipment. Class material is customized based upon your organization's needs and the equipment you have in your network. Students can select from a set of standard training modules and a specific duration, or a custom training class can be developed. This Training Service utilizes various different Cisco Optical Platforms in the WWT Advanced Technology Center for hands-on lab demonstrations and troubleshooting exercises. The optical equipment can be accessed virtually so that the training can be offered on site at your location.
What to Expect
Custom Optical Training provides customized classes on Optical Technologies and Cisco Optical Equipment. The program includes:
- Overview of Optical technologies with WWT experts
- Hands-on testing and experience with WWT's Labs
- Assistance with troubleshooting

This training program is developed based upon your organization's requirements and the equipment you have in your network. Custom content can be developed for most optical technologies and equipment. A sample of potential modules is provided below:
- Fiber Optic, DWDM, or OTN Fundamentals
- Overview of the NCS 1K, 2K, 4K, 4200, or ME 1200
- Installation and Implementation for NCS 1K, 2K, 4K, or 4200
- Troubleshooting on the NCS 1K, 2K, 4K, or 4200
- Introduction to EPN-M (Evolved Programmable Network Manager)
- Cisco Transport Controller (CTC) Operations
- Introduction to CNP – Cisco Network Planner, Design Tool
- Introduction to CTP – Cisco Transport Planner, Design Tool
