Appspace Desk and Room Reservation Demo
WWT's collaboration Technical Service Architect, Tim Cappel, demonstrates Appspace management tool for configuring specific desks, huddle spaces and conference rooms to be reserved and scheduled.
Key to any plans to bring the workforce back into offices and shared spaces is the ability to set specific desks, huddle spaces and meeting rooms and enable them to be reserved. Appspace is the market leader in space management, reservation systems and digital signage. Tim Cappel shows how to use Appspace to enable reservations for specific rooms and desks. See features like filtering by location, importing your floorplan and integrating with your chosen calendar service, like O365.
From the user perspective, we demonstrate how your staff can use the Appspace app to book a building pass or reserve a room from his/her smartphone. Building pass is a great feature for organizations to set some limits on the maximum number of staff and visitors in a given building, or on a specific floor. The mobile app can be used by staff to see which spaces are available, and book one in advance or upon arrival to work.
We conclude with a quick view on the QR code scanning feature, which allows on-site employees to book an available room in a contact-free approach, with QR codes displayed outside meeting rooms and booked on an employee's smartphone.
