The WWT Associate Academy is a development program that helps new hires build technical knowledge, sales skills, and confidence as they begin their careers at WWT. As part of the program, Associates join monthly Partner of the Month sessions—interactive spotlights where key partners introduce who they are, what they do, and how they work with WWT. These sessions give us a simple, engaging way to learn directly from partners and understand the value they bring to our customer conversations.

During the SimpleRose Partner of the Month session, the Associate Academy had the opportunity to learn directly from a team recognized for its deep expertise in optimization and AI‑powered planning. The session wasn't a partner pitch—it was an engaging learning experience that helped associates understand what optimization really looks like and how it supports real business decisions.

Getting to Know SimpleRose

SimpleRose's team brings decades of experience in optimization across industries like logistics, manufacturing, supply chain, and workforce scheduling. Their CRO, Nevra Ledwon, has been in the optimization world since 2001, and that experience showed through the examples and explanations shared during the session.

What made this especially valuable for the Academy was how approachable the SimpleRose team was—walking us through examples, answering questions live, and breaking down complex topics in a way that made them easy to understand.

Why This Session Mattered for the Associate Academy

The SimpleRose session was especially impactful because it helped Associates build confidence in discussing optimization with customers. Rather than focusing on theory, the team demonstrated how optimization supports smarter decision‑making—particularly in environments where uncertainty and complexity make planning difficult.

To make these ideas concrete, SimpleRose walked through several real‑world case studies, including:

  • Elevator Maintenance Planning: showing how companies can shift from fixed maintenance schedules to usage‑based plans that bundle work, reduce unnecessary service, and respond quickly to changing conditions.
  • Automotive Logistics Routing: illustrating how manufacturers determine the most efficient routes and loading strategies when collecting parts from hundreds of suppliers, ensuring production stays on track.
  • Warehouse and Capacity Planning: highlighting how organizations optimize staffing, equipment, and space to meet demand while minimizing operational bottlenecks.

These examples helped Associates understand how optimization saves time, reduces cost, and improves operations across industries they may encounter in customer conversations.

One of the most valuable takeaways was the mindset shift: optimization isn't about predicting a perfect future—it's about helping businesses make the best possible decisions with the information they have. This perspective made the topic feel more approachable and directly relevant to the work Associates will support at WWT.

A Supportive, Collaborative Partner

Another benefit to the Academy was seeing how SimpleRose works alongside WWT teams. They emphasized collaboration, ongoing support, and helping account teams identify optimization opportunities in their customer conversations. Knowing we have a partner ready to guide us—not just provide a product—made the partnership feel even more meaningful.

Final Thoughts

Our Partner of the Month session with SimpleRose gave the Associate Academy a practical, approachable introduction to optimization and how it supports real‑world decision‑making. Associates walked away with a clearer understanding of how optimization works, how it shows measurable value, and how SimpleRose and WWT work together to help customers solve complex planning challenges.
