Securing AI at Scale: WWT Earns Cisco's Secure AI Infrastructure Specialization

AI is only as trustworthy as the infrastructure running underneath it — and securing that infrastructure has become one of the defining challenges for enterprises moving AI out of the lab and into production. It's also where World Wide Technology (WWT) just picked up its latest recognition from Cisco: the Secure AI Infrastructure Specialization in the U.S., WWT's third major Cisco milestone this year.

The specialization, part of Cisco's redesigned Cisco 360 Partner Program, recognizes Cisco Preferred Partners with proven expertise delivering secure AI infrastructure — from design and deployment through ongoing customer engagement — using Cisco's integrated hardware, software and services. It's one of a new generation of specializations Cisco introduced to measure partners against real customer outcomes as organizations move from AI experimentation to production at scale.

For WWT, the achievement builds directly on work already underway with the Cisco Secure AI Factory with NVIDIA, an enterprise architecture combining AI infrastructure with agent operations, observability and security that WWT helps operationalize for customers moving AI workloads into production. It also draws on the Advanced Technology Center (ATC), where WWT's AI Proving Ground lets customers evaluate proven NVIDIA accelerate computing, storage and networking configurations before deployment, and the Cyber Range gives teams hands-on experience securing AI environments before those risks show up in production.

A landmark year with Cisco

The Secure AI Infrastructure Specialization caps a run of Cisco recognitions for WWT in 2026. In July, WWT was named a Cisco Global Partner — one of only six partners worldwide to earn the distinction — and became among the first partners in the U.S. to achieve the Cisco Secure Networking Specialization, recognizing demonstrated expertise across secure campus and branch, secure remote access, end-to-end visibility and assurance, secure WAN edge, and secure data center networking. Read the full announcement.
