Akamai Guardicore Centra Foundations Lab

The Akamai Guardicore Centra Foundations Lab is a capability of the Advanced Technology Center (ATC) designed to provide an environment to gain hands-on experience with the fundamental features of Akamai Guardicore Segmentation.

The Akamai Guardicore Centra Security Platform is a comprehensive data center and cloud security solution that delivers a simple and intuitive way to apply micro-segmentation controls to stop advanced threats through data center visibility, real-time breach detection and response.

Key capabilities of Akamai Guardicore Segmentation (AGS) include: visibility through mapped application dependencies, fast time to policy through flexible labeling and AI-powered segmentation, broad platform support and security focus through not only segmentation but a better overall security posture.

After completing the Akamai Guardicore Centra lab you will have direct hands on experiences with the Centra segmentation solution. You should have an understanding of how Guardicore leverages agents to control the East/West traffic down to the process level on your servers and endpoints by implementing software-based segmentation.

• Create manual blacklist and whitelist rules establishing segmentation on the Centra platform
