AWS Compute Lab

This lab will walk the user thru understanding the basics of compute within Amazon Web Services.

The user will work through the following tasks in both the Web UI and CLI:

• Creating a VPC
• Creating a key pair
• Creating an EC2 instance
• Allowing SSH Access into EC2 instance
• Deleting EC2 Instance

• Gain an understanding of workin with the AWS CLI and Console
• Understanding key terms within AWS
• Creating an EC2 instance
• Modifying security groups to allow external access
• Deleting EC2 instance

• AWS Managemenent Console
• AWS Cloud CLI
