This lab will have the following challenges.

Challenge 1: Introduction to Cloud Storage

• Create a Cloud Storage bucket.
• Upload objects to the bucket.
• Set the default storage class for the bucket.

Challenge 2: Managing Cloud Storage Buckets

• Configure lifecycle rules for automatic object deletion.
• Enable versioning for maintaining object history.

Challenge 3: Exploring Storage Classes

• Create buckets with different storage classes.
• Upload data and evaluate storage costs.
• Understand the suitability of storage classes for various use cases.

Challenge 4: Persistent Disks

• Create Compute Engine instances with Persistent Disks.
• Mount and explore Persistent Disks.
• Perform read and write operations on mounted disks.

Challenge 5: Data Transfer and Security

• Implement Object Lifecycle Management policies.
• Configure object-level access controls.
• Generate signed URLs for temporary access.

By completing these challenges, participants will gain practical experience and understanding of Google Cloud Storage and Persistent Disks, enabling effective utilization of GCP storage services in real-world scenarios.
