Solution overview

Most AI assistants forget everything the moment you close the tab. The Nous Research Hermes Agent is different. It keeps persistent state on disk so it remembers who you are, how you like to work, and what you've taught it across every session.

Powered by the Nemotron-3-Super-120B-A12B model in WWT's AI Proving Ground, the agent works across multiple surfaces: a desktop app, a chat platform, and the terminal - all sharing the same memory and skills. Preferences are injected as a frozen snapshot at session boot, and a full-text session search lets the agent query unlimited history beyond the snapshot.

In this lab you'll commission the agent as an infrastructure co-pilot, give it a persistent voice, teach it your engineering standards, explore built-in skills like architecture diagrams and implementation plans, and save your own reusable skill, then watch it apply everything automatically against a live virtual environment from a completely different surface.
