Hermes Agent - The Agent That Remembers You

Most AI assistants forget everything the moment you close the tab. The Nous Research Hermes Agent is different. It keeps persistent state on disk so it remembers who you are, how you like to work, and what you've taught it across every session.

Powered by the Nemotron-3-Super-120B-A12B model in WWT's AI Proving Ground, the agent works across multiple surfaces: a desktop app, a chat platform, and the terminal - all sharing the same memory and skills. Preferences are injected as a frozen snapshot at session boot, and a full-text session search lets the agent query unlimited history beyond the snapshot.

• Install and Configure the Agent: Deploy Hermes from the command line, connect it to an inference endpoint, and wire up the Mattermost gateway so the agent runs in the background.

• Explore Persistent Memory: See how the agent stores what it learns about you in plain Markdown files injected as a frozen snapshot at session boot, and how session search lets it query unlimited history beyond the snapshot.
• Teach Your Standards: Tell the agent your infrastructure reporting standards once and watch it follow them in a brand-new session without a reminder.
