HYPR Identity Assurance Lab

This hands-on lab introduces HYPR Identity Assurance, a passwordless authentication platform built on FIDO2 cryptographic credentials. Participants explore the HYPR Control Center, configure identity verification flows with HYPR Affirm, authenticate to a Windows workstation via RDP without passwords, test step-up verification for privileged actions, observe CrowdStrike ZTA pre-authentication policy enforcement through HYPR Adapt, and review Okta identity provider integration for automated user management.

The purpose of this lab is to help you develop proficiency in deploying, configuring, and managing HYPR Identity Assurance as a passwordless authentication solution. The lab guide is divided into sequential modules that build on each other to provide a comprehensive understanding of the platform.

• Navigate the HYPR Control Center and monitor system health, authentication events, and workstation activity
• Configure and execute identity verification flows using HYPR Affirm for onboarding and account recovery
• Authenticate to a Windows workstation via RDP using FIDO2 credentials with zero passwords
• Enforce pre-authentication policies using CrowdStrike Zero Trust Assessment scores through HYPR Adapt
• Review Okta identity provider integration for centralized user enrollment and lifecycle management
