Kubernetes Sandbox

Solution overview

The Kubernetes Sandbox provides a highly available deployment of Kubernetes for users to test deployments, services, functionality or any other tasks in a freshly deployed cluster. The lab is entirely self-guided, and the activities are up to the user on what tasks to perform.

This environment consists of three control-plane nodes (Node1, Node2, and Node3), three worker nodes (Node4, Node5, and Node6), and two network file shares (NFS-1 and NFS-2), all connected over an internal network. Each node is running RHEL 9.6, and a Windows jumpbox is provided for access. An API load balancer is configured across the control-plane nodes to provide a highly available endpoint for Kubernetes API access. MetalLB is included as the network load balancer, and Calico is used as the CNI.
