Webex Calling: Moving UC to the Cloud

Cisco Webex Calling offers enterprise-grade cloud calling and team collaboration through a flexible subscription model.  

Webex Calling provides your business with a smooth migration from on-premises deployments to the cloud with a rich user experience that includes both the Cisco Webex Calling app, for mobile and desktop users, integrated with the Cisco Webex Teams collaboration app.

This lab will allow a view into the features and configuration of a functional Webex Calling instance integrated into an on-premise Cisco Communications Manager environment.

Goals & Objectives

This demo environment provides a cloud instance of Webex tied to a local gateway and Communications Manager for demoing calling from Webex Cloud registered Cisco IP phones to IP phones registered to Communications Manager as well as PSTN destinations. 
Some features that are available for demoing:
  •  Registration of an IP phone inside or outside the enterprise network
  • PSTN connectivity 
  • Configuration needed to connect a local gateway to the cloud
  • Review of enterprise calling features
  • Adding numbers, devices and users
  • Licensing
