Python Lists, Dictionaries and Functions

Solution overview

Prerequisites: Basic Python syntax, variables, data types, and operators.

This module teaches three fundamental concepts through a progressive, hands-on lab. You'll start with lists, learning how to create, index, and modify ordered collections, along with list comprehensions for writing concise data transformations. Next, you'll move to dictionaries, covering key-value pairs, common methods like `.get()` and `.items()`, and how they're used to model structured data such as user profiles or inventory records. Finally, you'll learn functions — defining parameters and return values, understanding variable scope, and organizing repeated logic into clean, reusable blocks.
