Members of WWT's Commercial Northeast team attended the 13th Annual Girls, Inc. Strong, Smart and Bold Breakfast in Philadelphia. Meghan Yost, Inside Sales Representative; Tara Whitty, Price Analyst; Jason Heckler, Client Executive and Joe Lam, Managing Consultant were in attendance to support the Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey chapter of the nonprofit.

The event hosted of a variety of speakers and gave recognition to the very accomplished honorees. Event honorees included Dr. Constance E. Clayton, a retired superintendent of the Philadelphia School District; Marjorie Margolies, president of Women's Campaign International and former member of Congress; English D. Willis, MD, senior principal scientist for clinical safety and risk management at Merck.

Girls at the event impressed WWT team members. Yost noted how many introduced themselves to attendees and were handing out business cards. The girls discussed what they are currently studying, where they hope to attend college and what they aspire to be when they grow up.

"We think it's great that there's an organization like this for young girls," Yost said. "It's really amazing how well spoken, smart and confident the girls of Girls, Inc. are."

Proceeds from the event go towards giving the girls the right tools and support they need to succeed.
