The pandemic has posed many challenges for the workplace as organizations try to ensure employees remain productive and engaged while in many cases working from home. But this year's businesses that made the ranking have show they have what it takes for continued success. 

Companies were selected as Best Places to Work based on the results of confidential employee engagement surveys from Quantum Workplace. According to the survey results, 72.9% of Phoenix-area employees are highly engaged, up from last year's 67.7%.

Phoenix-area employees rated this question among the highest in the country, according to Quantum Workplace: When the organization makes changes, I understand why. 

The Valley also has better employee retention than the national average, according to survey results. And 91% of employees in the area agreed or strongly agreed to this statement: Everyone here is treated fairly regardless of race, gender, age, ethnic background, disability, sex orientation or other differences.

  • Large-sized company (250-999 employees): VIP Mortgage Inc.
