No. 33, Midsize Companies: World Wide Technology

What makes the Best Places to Work award so distinguished is that each company's employees exclusively determined the winners. Thousands of Bay Area workers were asked to complete an assessment that measures their company on such values as trust in leadership, collaborative culture, personal engagement and satisfaction of individual needs through great benefits and perks.

Our research partner Quantum Workplace reviews the questionnaires and generates scores for each company. The rankings are numeric based on Quantum's scoring process. We break out the companies in five different employer size categories, based on the number of Bay Area employees: Largest (More than 1,000 Bay Area employees), Large (250-999), Midsize (100-249), Small (50-99) and Smallest (25-49).

The list includes companies that have employees in 12 counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Monterey, Napa, San Benito, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano and Sonoma. This year's winners survived a nomination pool of 480 applicants. Altogether, the 130 companies count 58,000 workers throughout the region.

Honorees were celebrated at an awards event Thursday night at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square.

Congratulations to this years Best Places to Work winners!
