Five World Wide Technology Engineers Selected As Modern-day Technology Leaders

The Black Engineer of the Year Award STEM Conference Recognizes Individuals for Outstanding Achievements in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Be Everything You Are.

Washington, DC – February 18, 2020 – World Wide Technology (WWT), a market-leading technology solution provider, today announced that five of its technologists and engineers were named "Modern-Day Technology Leaders" at an awards ceremony held during the BEYA 2020 Global Catalyst for Change Conference, which took place February 13-15, 2020 in Washington, DC. The BEYA Modern-Day Technology Leaders award recognizes an individual's commitment to shaping the future of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) by developing cutting-edge technology or doing research for leading industries.

The WWT Modern-Day Technology Leader award winners include:

  • John Crawford, Director of Engineering
  • Eugene Harris, Federal Capture Manager – Civilian Team Lead
  • Benny Henderson, Cloud Platform Architect
  • Arshad Jones, Systems Engineering Manager 
  • Vaneisha Perkins, Applications Administrator

The Modern-Day Technology Leader award winners were honored during the Technology Recognition Lunch, which took place on February 14 during the BEYA STEM conference. The BEYA STEM conference brings professionals and students together for three days to share their experiences and career information.
