St. Louis, MO — World Wide Technology (WWT), a market-leading technology solution provider, today announced that Great Place to Work® has honored WWT as one of the 2021 Fortune Best Workplaces in Technology™. WWT has again been named to this prestigious list, this year coming in at 14th place. Earning a spot means that WWT is one of the best companies to work for in the country.
The Best Workplaces in Technology award is based on analysis of survey responses from more than 122,000 current employees across the U.S. In that survey, 93% of WWT’s employees said WWT is a great place to work. This number is 34 points higher than the average U.S. company.
“At WWT our technology runs on great people who are empowered to try new things, push conventional limits and create real outcomes for our employees customers,” said Mike Taylor, Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President, Services, WWT.
The Best Workplaces in Technology list is highly competitive. Great Place to Work, the global authority on workplace culture, selected the list using rigorous analytics and confidential employee feedback. Companies were only considered if they are a Great Place to Work-Certified™ organization.
Great Place to Work is the only company culture award in America that selects winners based on how fairly employees are treated. Companies are assessed on how well they are creating a great employee experience that cuts across race, gender, age, disability status, or any aspect of who employees are or what their role is.
“It’s more than fancy perks at the Best Workplaces in Technology. Employees at the companies praised their leaders for their incredible transparency and care during this pandemic year,” said Sarah Lewis-Kulin, VP global recognition, Great Place to Work®. “Even while working from home, employees said they felt more connected to their colleagues and their communities than ever.”
