The ranking assessed organizations' fairness, teamwork, benefits and other elements essential to outstanding work culture.

St. Louis, MO - June, 27, 2017 - World Wide Technology (WWT), a leading integrator that provides innovative technology and supply chain solutions to large public and private organizations, was ranked 40th on the list of the country's Best Workplaces for Millennials, announced by research and consulting firm Great Place to Work and FORTUNE. This is the third consecutive year WWT has earned a spot on the Millennials list.

The ranking considered 398,000 surveys that assessed organizations' fairness, teamwork, benefits and other elements essential to an outstanding work culture.

"Millennials represent some of the best and brightest minds in the tech industry so it is a privilege to have them call WWT their home," said Jim Kavanaugh, CEO of WWT. "We have created a work environment where they can grow and prosper through leadership programs, team collaboration, executive mentorships, volunteerism, a flexible work environment, tuition reimbursement programs and a comprehensive benefits program. At WWT, millennials have an opportunity to express  an equal voice in the success of the company."

While many companies report high turnover among younger workers, an average of 85 percent of Millennial front-line employees at the Best Workplaces say they want to work at their organizations for a long time.

"Millennials expect more from their employers in areas like fair treatment, clear communication, authentic leadership and opportunities for advancement – and rightly so. The Best Workplaces for Millennials are finding that fulfilling all these expectations by building a high-trust culture boosts Millennial employees' intent to stay by 20 times," said Michael Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work.

This recognition is the latest in a series of national acknowledgements of WWT as a premier place to work. WWT was previously ranked 7th among large companies in the 2017 Best Workplace in Technology list by Great Place to Work and Fortune, and it placed 5th on Glassdoor's 2017 Best Places to Work.  In past years WWT has secured top positions in Great Places to Work's rankings not only for Millennials but also in the categories of diversity, women, recent college graduates, Gen X, and camaraderie. When it comes to social good, WWT ranked #47 in PEOPLE's Companies that Care list recognizing leading businesses in volunteerism and community outreach.
