ST. LOUIS – June 24, 2015 – World Wide Technology (WWT), an award-winning systems integrator and supply chain solutions provider that brings an innovative and proven approach to how organizations explore, evaluate, architect and implement technology, today announced it ranked #12 on the list of the 100 Best Workplaces for Millennials in the United States by Great Place to Work® and Fortune.

"As WWT recognizes the vital importance of attracting and retaining the next generation of talent, we are honored by this award and see it as further affirmation that WWT's exceptional workplace culture, commitment to innovation, flexibility and core values resonate with millennials and support a multi-generational workforce focused on the long-term success of our customers and our company," said WWT's chief executive officer and co-founder Jim Kavanaugh.

The ranking comes after a survey of nearly 90,000 millennials, including an anonymous survey of WWT's millennial employees, administered by the workplace culture experts at Great Place to Work® using the Trust Index©, Great Place to Work's employee assessment survey. In just 10 years, millennials will make up 75 percent of the workforce. To compete for top talent and ensure their long-term success, businesses must prepare to appeal to and engage this unique generation of employees.

"Companies focused on solid growth understand that it's critical for senior leaders to have an in-depth understanding of all their employees' experiences, regardless of their age, role in the organization, or any other demographic profile," says Michael Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work® United States. "Great workplaces are constantly monitoring and analyzing their employees' workplace experiences and then taking action to improve them. Ranking on this list is a great indicator that these companies' efforts to create great workplaces are resonating with millennials."

Part of a series of rankings by Great Place to Work® and Fortunebased entirely on employee surveys from published Great Place to Work® Reviews, the 100 Best Workplaces for Millennials is a "best of the best" ranking. The winners come from the universe of companies with published Great Place to Work Reviews, meaning they are serious about creating a great workplace and comfortable with transparency.

These companies either have proven to be great workplaces—earning a spot on the Fortune100 Best Companies to Work For® list or the Best Small & Medium Workplaces list—or are dedicated to improving their cultures as shown by their willingness to survey employees and publish the results. WWT ranked 28 on the 2015 Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For® list, marking is fourth consecutive year that WWT earned a spot on the coveted list.

Of the 465 companies with published Reviews recently surveyed using the Trust Index©Employee Survey, 315 surveyed at least 50 employees under age 35. Millennial-aged employees from these companies answered 58 questions about how frequently they experience the behaviors that create a great workplace. This resulted in a total score for each company based entirely upon employee feedback.  The Great Place to Work® Best Workplaces for Millennials 2015 ranking includes the best 100 companies ranked by these millennials' scores.
