ST. LOUIS, MO. (9 August 2022) – The 2022 UK's Best Workplaces™ for Women list was announced this month by Great Place to Work® UK, recognising World Wide Technology (WWT) among 263 ranked organisations. WWT ranked ninth in the medium-size category for the second consecutive year.

WWT is proud to support all women with initiatives to better the workplace experience and beyond. The company's LEAD Employee Resource Group (ERG) for EMEA, which was established in 2021, supports women and allies in the region through a number of efforts, including: a guest speaker series, coordinated celebrations of International Women's Day and awareness-building of prevalent health concerns for women. In fact, the ERG has committed to supporting women with cervical cancer by raising 2,000 GBP for the Royal Marsden Hospital in London – a leading source of treatment for women with this devastating disease.

WWT is also passionate about working to improve the workplace for future female professionals. In March 2022, WWT UK held a Women in Tech event that was focused on providing 17- and 18-year-old female students with insight into WWT's business functions, along with networking opportunities and career advice. In addition, WWT works with its network of partners to advance opportunities for female employees to grow in their careers, recently sponsoring two cohorts of women to complete Cisco's Bridge the Gap program.

"WWT is proud to be recognized as a top workplace for women in the UK. We strive to support all our employees and not only make our company a safe and inclusive place to work but a desirable one," said Stacey Kingshott, Senior Director of Global HR at WWT UK. "From our LEAD ERG to our many events aimed at educating and supporting women in the workplace, we're excited to continue helping our female colleagues grow in their careers and thrive at WWT."

As Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place to Work® UK, explains: "Now in its fifth year, our 2022 list showcases the largest collection of Best WorkplacesTM for Women that the UK has ever recognised. These results are based on what women themselves have anonymously reported to us about their workplace experience and how well represented they are in the workforce and management. Ensuring people aren't discriminated against, placing positive value on our differences, creating fair access and advancement for all, and fostering a sense of value and empowerment in employees is what being a Great Place to Work® is all about. Only by first identifying the gaps in workers' experiences can organisations truly take action to close them, which is why analysing employee experience is important. We are proud that the data and insights we provide organisations help on that continuous journey – and it's wonderful to celebrate so many Best Workplaces™ for Women this year, across all sectors and organisational sizes."

This news follows WWT UK's Great Place to Work® Certification™ and its recognition on UK's Best Workplaces™ for Wellbeing list in early 2022, ranking 12th among medium-sized companies. In 2021, WWT UK was also named one of the Best Workplaces in Tech. In the U.S., Great Place to Work and Fortune included WWT on the 100 Best Companies to Work For® list for the 11th consecutive year. In previous years, WWT has been named to additional lists, including Best Workplaces for Diversity™, Best Workplaces for Millennials™, Best Workplaces for Parents™ and more.
