LONDON, [November 5, 2026] - World Wide Technology (WWT) today announced the launch of InfiniteAI, an ambitious programme designed to unify the fragmented UK and European AI supply chain: connecting high-potential start-ups, sovereign neocloud infrastructure, and global enterprises into a single, high-velocity growth engine embedded in AI for Good values.

Europe has world-class talent and nearly 11,000 AI start-ups, yet VC funding in 2025 trailed the US by nearly $220 billion, and European providers hold only 15% of the cloud market. Only two gigawatts of AI compute capacity, around 5% of the global total, sit in the EU, while the US has around 17 times as much (35 gigawatts, 78%) and China more than twice as much (5 gigawatts, 11%). Together, these figures point to a systemic "Connectivity Gap" which InfiniteAI is engineered to address, helping ensure that UK and European innovation is powered by UK and European infrastructure and scaled by UK and European demand.

Backed by an initial £35m investment from WWT alongside its extensive OEM ecosystem, InfiniteAI introduces a "Growth Flywheel" to the region by providing equity-free access to sovereign compute, direct introductions to enterprise buyers and giving support through the procurement process, WWT is removing barriers that have historically held back UK and European AI scale-ups. The founding partners benefitting from the programme include -, Callosum, Civo, Polarise and Deliverance.ai.

Says Scott O'Mara, WWT SVP, International: "Ambition is not the issue when it comes to UK and European AI deployment, but connectivity and urgency are. The UK and Europe have the founders and the infrastructure, but they are often disconnected. The WWT InfiniteAI programme solves this through the Growth Flywheel: We are building an ecosystem that finds the most promising founders, fuels them with sovereign compute, and fast-tracks them into the enterprises so that growth compounds for everyone involved."

A Physical Epicentre for Innovation: Central to this vision is the Infinite Innovation Centre (IIC), opening in March 2027 in the I-HUB at Imperial College London's White City campus. The IIC will serve as the physical heartbeat of the ecosystem and as a neutral ground for ideas to become real businesses. Featuring an Executive Briefing Centre, AI Experience Zone, Partner Showcase Pods, Innovation Workshop Studio, Training and Certification Lab, as well as Networking Space, the IIC is designed to accelerate the move from Proof of Concept (PoC) to full-scale production.

Social Impact: InfiniteAI is founded on the principle that the gains of AI must be shared. Through a dedicated "AI for Good" mandate, WWT is committing to bringing isolated projects together to create a systemic social shift.

Says Carmel McConnell MBE, WWT Senior Director, Social Impact and Sustainability: "InfiniteAI shares the strengths of the UK and European AI ecosystem to help ensure no one and no community is left behind in the transition to an AI-driven economy. Our commitment aims to help charities become AI-ready and to redirect £10m of AI value into the social sector. The Infinite Innovation Centre (IIC) is where real ideas meet real problems at scale, creating positive change for communities and protecting nature. Our hope is that this values led approach deploys the most powerful technology of our time to solve the most pressing problems of our society."

Proven Velocity: The potential of this model is already showing. During the programme's pilot phase, Deliverance.ai moved from stealth mode to £6m in annual recurring revenue in just four months. This rapid growth is a testament to WWT's ability to provide the right infrastructure and right environment for start-ups to scale quickly.

To support the commitment of capital across AI and sustainability advisory, engineering expertise, compute, talent development, the IIC, and ecosystem events, WWT is hiring 10+ dedicated team members with 50+ additional roles expected across the UK and Europe in 2027 to drive the programme's growth.

Supporting Quotes

Deliverance.ai - "Deliverance AI is the software that runs governed AI agents in production, on infrastructure enterprises control. We help customers deploy, govern and prove the ROI of their agents, which is why we fit so naturally alongside WWT: together, we take enterprises from AI strategy to agents in production that deliver measurable business outcomes. We co-developed the product with WWT and take it to market together, and without that partnership, reaching £6m of pure software ARR across large enterprises in four months would have been impossible. As a founding member of Infinite AI, we look forward to extending that model across the ecosystem." - Mick McNeil, Founder and CEO, Deliverance.ai.

Callosum - "AI problems often need highly flexible approaches – a mix of providers and models. WWT's InfiniteAI programme will give us support to help us scale and prove that European startups can solve complex problems effectively and efficiently. The programme also enables founders to stay independent, keep their data in Europe, and build world-class AI from European soil. Being a founding partner means we are integral to its success which is a huge privilege." - Jascha Achterberg, Co-Founder and CTO, Callosum.

Polarise - "Europe is a very splintered market. Startups have always had to choose between fragmented local providers and dependence on clouds outside of Europe. WWT's InfiniteAI programme changes that by giving European infrastructure providers like us the connections, volume and market validation we need to prove we can compete on performance, price, and sovereignty. It is exciting to be a part of a programme that removes the friction currently stopping startups from accelerating at speed." - Michel Boutouil, CEO, Polarise.

Civo  - "We're big believers in AI for Good, and that means building infrastructure that's sustainable from the start. The data centres we're rolling out across the UK, designed to repurpose waste heat to warm local homes, public buildings and community facilities, are a good example of what this can look like in practice. Civo is built for sovereign AI, with data that stays in the region and no hyperscaler lock-in. Our partnership with InfiniteAI and the connectivity they are building within the ecosystem means we will be able to share this with the founders who need it."- Mark Boost, CEO, Civo.

Imperial College London: "Imperial shares WWT's ambition to transform and scale ideas into real world applications. I am pleased WWT has chosen to open the Infinite Innovation Centre (IIC) in Imperial's I-HUB to bridge the connectivity gap and help ensure the UK and Europe can stay at the forefront of AI." - Professor Hugh Brady, President, Imperial College London.
