St. Louis, MO – World Wide Technology, a market-leading $13.4 billion technology solutions provider, today announced its selection by the NVIDIA Partner Network (NPN) to receive the 2020 AI Solutions Partner of the Year award from the NVIDIA Partner Network (NPN). NVIDIA selected WWT for its leadership and commitment in driving adoption of NVIDIA artificial intelligence (AI) solutions across multiple industries; its machine learning operations (MLOps) thought leadership; its demonstrated engineering and software expertise; and WWT's investments in AI infrastructure for customer testing and labs in its industry-leading WWT Advanced Technology Center.

To help customers develop AI strategies, WWT published multiple white papers that explored the practical applications of natural language processing (NLP), computer vision and other machine learning (ML) solutions that leveraged the compute power of graphics processing units (GPUs). WWT's research into ML and deep learning is tied to real-world business outcomes, creating improvements in MRI radiomics, mining safety, procurement and supply chain performance, utilities grid optimization, and resource management for manufacturing, among other areas.

For the is first time, WWT also received recognition for its AI work in the public sector as NPN NVIDIA's Public Sector Partner of the Year. WWT's Public Sector group includes US federal agencies, state agencies, local governments and educational institutions, representing a massive collection of different organizational needs and priorities. Across these organizations, AI/ML are increasingly employed by these organizations to achieve their most critical missions. As an NVIDIA Elite partner, WWT integrated and deployed multiple NVIDIA DGX SuperPODod systems during the pandemic, including several used for urgent COVID research. WWT also engineered and integrated one of the world's newest and most powerful NVIDIA supercomputers at the University of Florida, helping establish Florida as a major research university.
