Retired United States Army Chief Warrant Officer Five (CW5) John H. King II serves as a Strategic Advisor to the Public Sector Team at World Wide Technology (WWT). In this role, he leverages his extensive background in military service to explore and discover new business opportunities and solutions to support WWT’s most-strategic Army and DoD customers. King joined WWT in July 2020, following 25 years of distinguished service in the United States Army. He most recently served as Chief Technical Advisor, J6, United States Africa Command. In this capacity, King was responsible for providing technical advice and expertise on Command and Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR). He also administered technical leadership and problem identification and resolution of mission support C4ISR issues, Information Technology (IT) operational challenges, and lead, troubleshoot and implement agile technical and process solutions for C4ISR mission services, Network Operations, and Cyber Security.
