I’m a technology leader at World Wide Technology’s Advanced Technology Center (ATC), where I lead teams developing technical learning experiences across networking, data center, cloud, and emerging technologies. My career has been shaped by a simple belief: people understand technology best when they have the opportunity to work with it. I believe in learning by doing, creating experiences that allow people to explore technology, test ideas, solve problems, and build practical skills they can carry back into their work. Before moving into technical learning and solution development, I worked in WWT’s ATC Lab Services organization supporting customer proof-of-concept testing and helping develop the team responsible for delivering those engagements. Earlier in my career, I designed, implemented, and supported enterprise networks for organizations including Scottrade, Anheuser-Busch, Ameren, and May Department Stores. At Scottrade, I served as lead network architect, supporting and evolving its enterprise network. That technical foundation continues to shape how I lead today. I believe technology leaders should remain close enough to the work to understand the challenges their teams and customers face. My current technical interests include networking, public and private cloud, and the practical challenges organizations face as they move artificial intelligence from experimentation into operations. As a leader, I’m passionate about developing people and building sustainable organizations. I want the people I work with to feel supported enough to take risks, challenged enough to grow beyond their comfort zones, and trusted enough to take ownership. My goal is to build capability rather than dependency within individuals, teams, and organizations. Outside of work, I’m a husband and father of two boys, a Scoutmaster and Merit Badge Counselor, and an avid outdoorsman. I enjoy backpacking, CrossFit, and opportunities to keep learning, challenging myself, and helping others grow.
